This document will explain the process of logging into a Ubuntu-based Virtual Private Desktop.
- Open the Microsoft RDP Client.
- See Figure 1
- Put the address of your Ubuntu Desktop in the “Computer” line.
- This will be in the form of 192.173.156.142:xxxx where xxxx is your RDP number.
- See Figure 2
- Enter your username (administrator) and password assigned to your Virtual Desktop
- Note that the username is case sensitive.
- See Figure 3
- Be sure to properly logout when you are done as only one RDP session can be opened at a time. This is a limitation of X-RDP.
